Courses
Students take Military Science Courses along with their desired area of academic study. These courses count towards graduation requirements as electives. Each semester ROTC students take one Military Science course along with a Lab course. In addition to these courses students participate in Physical Training three days a week. Below is a general overview of the course sequence for students.
Basic Courses
These courses are open to any student interested learning more about ROTC. No military obligation is incurred by enrollment in the basic course, except by Army ROTC Scholarship cadets.
First-year
- Introduction to the Army
- Foundations of Leadership
- Leadership Lab (each semester)
Second Year
- Leadership and Ethics
- Army Doctrine and Decision Making
- Military History Course
- Leadership Lab (each semester)
Advanced Courses
Enrollment in the advanced ROTC courses is only for students who have signed a service obligation which they will fulfill after graduation with the United States Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard. Advanced Course students must also attend the five-week Advanced Camp, usually attended during the summer between the junior and senior years. Army ROTC scholarships are available to qualified applicants (both those already enrolled in the ROTC program and those not yet enrolled) through annual competition.

- Applied Leadership in Small Unit Operations
- Advanced Leadership Lab (each semester)
Senior Year
- Developing Adaptive Leaders
- Company Grade Leadership
- Advanced Leadership Lab (each semester)
